1. Introduction & Core Philosophy
Your privacy is fundamental to us. Morpis is engineered with a strict Privacy-First architecture: your personal information, workout logs, nutrition tracking, and health metrics remain exclusively on your device and inside your private Apple iCloud account.
2. Information We Collect & How It Is Used
- Workout & Nutrition Logs: Exercises, sets, repetitions, weights, body weight records, and nutrition logs are stored locally on your device and synced through your private Apple iCloud database (CloudKit). We do not host or operate central servers that store your personal workout data.
- Health & Fitness Data (Apple HealthKit): With your explicit consent, Morpis reads biometric indicators (such as resting heart rate, heart rate variability, and sleep analysis) to calculate your daily Readiness score and writes completed workout sessions to Apple Health. Health data is never sold, traded, or shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
- Anonymous Product Analytics (TelemetryDeck): We use TelemetryDeck to analyze general app usage and performance (e.g., active screens, session duration). All data is strictly anonymized, does not contain Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and never tracks you across third-party apps or websites.
- In-App Advertising (Google AdMob): For non-subscribed users, Google AdMob is utilized to display banner and rewarded video advertisements. AdMob may process device identifiers in compliance with Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) policies and your device settings. Subscribed users do not receive advertisements.
3. Security & Advanced Encryption
Sensitive user information stored within the application is protected using industry-standard AES-GCM 256-bit encryption, Apple Keychain, and the device Secure Enclave. iCloud synchronization takes place over Apple's end-to-end encrypted infrastructure.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
Because we do not store your data on external proprietary servers, you maintain full control. You can delete workouts, diet logs, or custom items directly within the app. Uninstalling the app and removing Morpis data from your iCloud settings permanently erases all associated data.
5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Under applicable data privacy regulations (such as the GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to access, export, modify, or erase your data at any time. As your data is kept exclusively on your local device and private iCloud account, you can execute these actions independently without restriction.
